Annie, Saturday final show

Annie Cast:

PICTURES are very important after such hard work. Several of you are not available tomorrow afternoon, but I was trying to prevent you from being tortured between shows-unfortunately I believe we are going to try and do the pictures right after the first show. So do not change out of your clothes we are going to work backwards to prepare for the second show and take pictures IMMEDIATELY after the first show.

Here will be the order as follows:

Cast B - Grace, Warbucks, Annie
Cast B - Hannigan, Rooster, Lily

1.Full cast in Mansion at Christmas-A
2. Cabinet Scene
3. Healy Show-A
4. Fully dressed children
5. Easy street- A
6. NYC-A
7. I think I'm gonna like it here-A
8. Little Girls
9. Hooverville
10. Hard knock life

We will have less than an hour to do these pictures. And I know that you were going to want to eat as well. So make sure you already have your food with you so you can eat while we're doing pictures in between

Cast B will take those two pictures following the show while Cast A is getting dressed. And then we will take the pictures in that order so that we are ready for the next show.

I'm sorry I can't make it perfect for everyone but we're going to try this and see if it works-please let me have all of your cooperation.

You are a fabulous group and you know that you mean the world to me and that you have worked extremely hard. But let me say that what little time I have been able to wander into the audience they are all flabbergasted by the success of the show.

Love you all, good luck

Need help

NEED HELP😊

I know we all have a busy day tomorrow, but the library in Mountain Grove is in need of about 10 workers to come and move books after their book sale. From 1 to 3 PM and they usually treat their workers afterwards.

It was a wonderful service last year when several of our students participated and helped make an easy light load for these elderly women.

If you have these two hours to spare please call me at 417-254-3168 so I know that you are available.

Thank you so much

Cancellation rehearsal

Clarification of Annie rehearsals:

ENTIRE cast should have had rehearsal tomorrow -

HOWEVER-

Practice has been canceled for Saturday October 7th due to too

Many cast members telling me they will not be there-

THEREFORE-

I should expect everyone to be ready to work very hard in the next three weeks before the show! Everything on the calendar in RED means everyone is required to be there- no exceptions.

Enjoy the weekend and memorize😊

Tuition Due

Dear parents,

I understand that several of you have been adding and dropping classes over the last month of class and need some bills adjusted. However, we need tuition paid each month on time by the 10th in order to pay our bills. If you have adjustments that need to be made they cannot be made until the following month, because all of our billing system goes out electronically.

Please do what you can until adjustments have been made. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

Have a wonderful weekend😊

Cinderella final day

Cinderella -
August 12th, Saturday

WOW- first time actors, you did a great job- that was a lot of "firsts" yesterday and I think you will find it easier today.

Two reminders from the directors:
-Please remember NOT to put your back to the audience
- speak clearly and keep the dialogue going. If the audience doesn't hear you, they cannot follow the story.

Everyone did a much better job on expression last night I was very pleased. And notice how the audience laughed when you were getting into your character and being expressive. That is your goal for this next performance is to keep the audience
Engaged at all times.

We have a performance at 3:00
Call time is 2:00- an hour before to prepare and get dressed. If main characters (except mice) could be there at 1:30 I would like to help show them a couple things, and also try something different with the Mics because they don't fit their ears.

The tiny children do not need to be there until closer to 3 o'clock.

After the 3 o'clock show please STAY on the stage we are going to have a cast picture.

Again thank your parents, yesterday was a very difficult time that we have never experienced. Everyone pulled together and helped to get this show on. You and your children are Awesome. See you soon.

Cinderella

Cinderella Cast:

Thursday, August 10, 2017

Rehearsal will entail live microphone usage, Completing costume fittings, Stage Blocking, and Choreography. This is a very large amount of work. I really need parents that can help students to stay busy and attentive to what we are teaching by providing them with something to do.

After students are picked up, be sure they are practicing lines, songs, and getting a good night’s sleep to prevent exhaustion and illness.

This is not easy to do and cannot be done without cooperation from everyone. It takes a team. If you are available, we will need help with certain things for the show. Katie Montgomery will have a sign up sheet for those things.

Costume responsibilities for each character as follows:

Please help us get the word out so we have an audience so the kids will do well. Share our events on facebook, sell tickets, call family and friends, or hang flyers. It is very helpful.

Special thanks to Katie, Stacey, and Miranda for our crafts and snacks!

Students

GOOD MORNING my fellow friends and students, this is our first week off and I miss you all! We had a wonderful weekend starting with the Friday evening show in Mountain View, followed by the variety show in Willow Springs, followed by the stars rise fun raiser in Willow Springs, followed by Mountain Grove music recital, followed by yesterday with our visitor Joel Harrison. Phew...It's amazing to think how far our students have come in the last year. And we have so many wonderful things planned for the next year to help enhance their talents.

If any of you have some great pictures or videos of this last weekend's events, please send them to 417-254-3168, or matbec@centurytel.net. I will need them for our historian to put in the scrapbook, as well as I would like to post them on our main Facebook page.

Also remember to catch up your tuition. You will not have a bill for the next three months, so if for some reason you have gotten a little behind this is a good time to catch up without it being a burden, hopefully.😉

If you need some service hours we have several events coming up this summer you can help with. The first one is the glow run, if you are interested in assisting please call Cindy Bobe at 417-217-9430. And I will be out in the botanical garden tomorrow cleaning up if anyone is interested call at 417-254-3168.

Hope you all have a wonderful summer and I get to see you at our camps.🤗

Canceled classes

This has been a shocking weekend with unfortunate events due to the weather and the flooding that has occurred. I have spoken to many of you and you have been stranded and suffered losses and have damage to clean up. STARS has also suffered and we have much to clean up. All three schools are canceled therefore we will be canceling all lessons and classes for Monday, May 1. Let us know if we can be of assistance to any of you.
Much love, Mrs. Peterson💕
