Payment Plans
Reminders
The STARS Foundation is a non-profit organization. As such, the Foundation is funded by grants and the donations of those in our communities who are moved to support and give to this wonderful program. In order for STARS to continue providing these services, students who do not comply with payment policies will be excused from the program.
Requirements:
1.
Student
does not have more than three (3) unexcused absences.
2.
Student
has either completed service hours or has paid tuition and rental fees.
3.
Student
complies with the building rules, which are listed on the wall.
4.
Student
is practicing and using tutoring hours if necessary.
5.
Student
attends and participates in two (2) concerts each year – fall and spring.
6.
Failure
to attend performances will result in the student being charged for the costume
or music fees incurred.
The
Board of Directors will review each student every quarter. If a student does
not comply with these requirements, he or she will be given a warning. After a
second warning, the student will be excused from the school.
Tuition
Tuition
runs from August 2015 through May 2016, with registration in July 2015. All
payments are due at the end of the month. Registration fees are due once per
year during the enrollment period.
Community
service hours can be performed in lieu of payment. All service hours must be
documented, signed and dated then recorded in the Foundation’s records.
Community service hours requirements are listed below with each plan. All
service hours must be handled through Cindy Lundberg, who can be reached at 406-781-9754
or lundberg10@hotmail.com. Community service tracking forms are available upon
request.
Plan A - Piano
Piano
students will pay $30 per month or 4 hours of community service.
Plan B – Instrumentalists
Instrumentalists
will pay $20 per month for lessons/classes or 4 hours of community service.
Three or more family members will pay a maximum of $60 per month.
If
a student is renting an instrument from STARS, he or she can pay a minimum of
$10 or more per month in addition to class fees or perform an additional two
hours of community service. Instruments are only available according to funding
and may need to be relinquished at any time.
Plan C – Dance
Dance
students will pay $30 per month for the first class and $15 for each additional
class, or 4 hours of community service for the first class and 2 hours for each
additional class. There is a $10 costume cleaning fee charged for each child
participating in a performance.
Plan D – Theater/Improvisation
Performers
will pay $25 per person or $50 for a family of two or more. There is a $10
costume cleaning fee charged for each child participating in a performance.
Plan E – Other
Classes, such as Languages and Art
Students
will pay $20 per month for classes or 4 hours of community service. Three or
more family members will pay a maximum of $60 per month.
